Here to Help
Racial and ethnic minorities frequently experience health disparities—diminished quality of life and access to care because of race, gender, disability status, socioeconomic status, and environmental disadvantages. Minority patients’ communities are also more affected by systemic and chronic diseases that require ongoing treatment, therapy, and patient support.
Immune Recovery Foundation’s Patient Assistance Program is designed to help patients overcome the burden of treatment costs and connect them to a caring patient support community. We not only make life-saving and life-extending treatments affordable, we are also advocates, helping patients navigate the healthcare system and find additional support through foundations and passion-driven organizations dedicated to helping individuals with life-altering and life threatening diseases conditions.

Prescription Copay Assistance
We cover what insurance doesn’t—copays for prescriptions and treatments that can extend life and alleviate suffering. Many patients with chronic illness say they can’t afford their healthcare costs, and they’re often forced to postpone or cancel their care. Immune Recovery Foundation’s Copay Assistance program covers prescription costs for eligible patients.
Travel Assistance
Transportation costs can be a significant barrier to treatment access. The Immune Recovery Foundation Travel Assistance program pays for medical travel expenses to ensure patients have access to the care they need.
Our dedicated team of Care Navigators make all travel arrangements and stay in constant contact with the patient, physicians, and a case manager throughout the course of the patient’s treatment. Travel assistance may include transportation by car or a variety of public transit options including Uber Health and Lyft for Healthcare. If a patient’s treatment requires an overnight stay, Immune Recovery Foundation Care Navigators will arrange flights, car rentals, and lodging as needed. By coordinating travel from start to finish, the Travel Assistance program ensures patients can follow through with important medical appointments.
Premium Assistance
Patients fighting chronic or life threating diseases are often overwhelmed with financially demanding healthcare costs. Our Premium Assistance Program can provide support for patients who need help paying their monthly medical insurance premiums.
Our expert team of Care Navigators can guide patients through the process of researching insurance plan options and completing enrollment paperwork to select the appropriate healthcare coverage for their needs. If a patient already has insurance coverage and needs help with their monthly premium costs, Immune Recovery Foundation will make payments to continue that coverage. Premium Assistance may also help pay for insurance plans for the patient’s family, where applicable.
Diagnostic Testing Assistance
Diagnostic testing is a vital tool to help patients obtain a proper diagnosis—but many insurance plans don’t pay for it. This testing is also key for physicians to create appropriate treatment plans. Immune Recovery Foundation provides Diagnostic Testing Assistance—financial assistance to help pay for diagnostic tests to fill the gap in insurance coverage.
