Here to Help

Racial and ethnic minorities frequently experience health disparities—diminished quality of life and access to care because of race, gender, disability status, socioeconomic status, and environmental disadvantages. Minority patient communities are also more affected by systemic and chronic diseases that require ongoing treatment, therapy, and patient support.

Immune Recovery Foundation’s various Patient Assistance Programs are designed to help patients navigate the healthcare system, especially the burden of medical costs, and find additional support through foundations and passion-driven organizations dedicated to assisting individuals with life-altering and life-threatening disease conditions.

Patient Navigation and Assistance
Through IRF’s patient navigation assistance program, our navigation team helps patients identify beneficial:
♦ regional support groups
♦ clinical trials
♦ diagnostic treatment
♦ insurance premium assistance
♦ free or reduced cost prescription drugs support
♦ medical travel costs aid
♦ other matters appropriate to patients needs

Disease Education Services
IRF’s patient support team helps patients understand their disease and improve health outcomes through patient education. We do so in part by partnering and collaborating with other disease nonprofit organizations.
